Oats are also the basic ingredient in the preparation of these bars. This food is a substantial source of slow absorbing carbohydrates. Its consumption is recommended for the proper functioning of the digestive system because of its high fiber content. This element helps to reduce the absorption of sugar in the intestine and, with it, regulates the levels of glycemia in the blood.
